Family Homelessness Prevention: Applications are now being accepted by Family Promise of Waukesha County from families who are seeking rent, mortgage, or utility assistance. The purpose of these funds is to assist families with children to be able to remain in their homes and avoid the impact of family homelessness. 

GROCERY STORE GIFT CARDS:
We are collecting donations and gift cards to local grocery stores in 25 and 50 dollar amounts. Preferred stores are Pick n Save, Piggly Wiggly, Woodmans, Aldi, and Target/Walmart.

EMERGENCY HOUSING FUND:
The intent is to have funds to offer emergency rent, utility and mortgage assistance to families in crisis. The Oconomowoc Area Foundation has allowed Family Promise to divert a $15,000 grant to this effort. The goal is $50,000 as they are already seeing an increased need in our community.

While we may not be serving families directly in our church home, the ultimate goal is to help families avoid the devastating effect and spiraling trap that homelessness can become.
